Upgraded to 2.2 but QNAP NAS showing 2.1.2?

I have just upgraded to version 2.2 of Minimserver but when I look in AppCenter on QNAP NAS the icon is showing as MinimServer 2.1.2. I have restarted the NAS but it still shows as 2.1.2. If I look in the packages in Minimwatch the top one in the list is [*.minimserver.2.1.2] and it cannot be removed as it is greyed out. 2nd in list is minimserver.2.2. If I select configure in minimwatch it shows

You are using the full version of MinimServer 2.2

Have I upgraded correctly or am I still using 2.1.2 as shown in the app icon on the NAS AppCenter. See attached screen shot.[attachment=2904]

You have upgraded correctly and you are running MinimServer 2.2 even though the App Center page is showing 2.1.2. You are seeing this discrepancy because you have installed MinimServer 2.2 using the Install button from the MinimServer configuration web page.

This is mentioned in the last paragraph of the New installer for MinimServer 2.2 section. There is a link to this section from the Installing or updating MinimServer 2 section of the QNAP installation page.

I think it would be helpful to also explain this on the QNAP installation page. I will update this page to add this information.

Thanks for this response Simon, that explains the discrepancy. I actually updated directly on the QNAP NAS console page in Windows, it has been showing update available for several months but my updates licence had expired which I renewed. After the update it still showed 2.1.2 so I then manually installed the update and patch using minimwatch which again didn't change the version showing.

No worries, as long as I know I have the latest version.
