Can’t Downgrade to 2.1…
I installed MS 2.2, but have been getting some connection problems with my streamer (Naim ND5 XS), so I wanted to go back to 2.1 to check (wasn’t having any issues with 2.1).

However, launching 2.1, I get a message ‘ Previously installed package MinimServer-238 conflicts with this installation’.

So, how do I go back..?

TIA

Tim

From the pop-up menu of the red minim icon, select Relaunch. MinimServer 2.1 should then start with no errors.

I will be interested to hear whether this makes any difference to your connection issues.

Thanks for the very quick reply, Simon!!!

Oddly enough, this time it launched with no issues..

RE: Can’t Downgrade to 2.1…
The first relaunch after installing 2.1 detects the conflicting update module and marks it for removal. When you relaunch again, the update module is removed. The double relaunch is needed because removals are processed before conflict detection happens.
