RE: Latest download link (windows) - trojan detected
That's windows defender autoscan on download. I tried thrice with the same output.
I've downloaded it from macos (can not download it with any windows I own) and submitted it to virus total, the result is accessible here: https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/fb10...?nocache=1 Good news is that it's a false positive. Bad news is that somehow I (and maybe all windows user) can't download it right now :/ |

RE: Latest download link (windows) - trojan detected
Thanks, I will try this myself. If I get the same message, I will report the false positive to Microsoft. This is somewhat disappointing because 2.1.2 is signed with a code-signing certificate which should in theory prevent this.

RE: Latest download link (windows) - trojan detected
I tried this with Microsoft Edge and with Firefox. Firefox worked OK but Edge blocked the download.
You can override the false positive message from Edge by mousing over the "was blocked" message in the Downloads pop-up and selecting the '3 dots' icon (More actions). From this menu, select Keep. You will then get another false positive message when you try to run the downloaded installer. From this, click 'More info' followed by 'Run anyway.' |

Confirming this is resolved with Vivaldi and Chrome too.
