Folder View / >>Tag View Intermediate level
Hello,
when entering the folder view you can enter the ">> Tag View" folder. The content of this folder always starts with the name of the folder where you are currently. E.g.: CD-Rips / >>Tag View / CD-Rips / ... And inside of this last folder the interesting content does start, like n items, artist, etc. Why is this intermediate level (the 2nd "CD-Rips" folder) inserted in the navigation? I would expect that the "interesting content" would start directly in the TagView folder. (Is there a way to configure it like this? If so, is there a drawback doing it?) Thank you Gert |

RE: Folder View / >>Tag View Intermediate level
The intermediate level (containing a >> Hide Contents selection) ensures you won't get duplicates if you select a complete subdirectory for playing. For more information, see this section.

RE: Folder View / >>Tag View Intermediate level
So the ">> Hide Content" dummy folder cannot be placed in parallel to the n items and artist folders (on the same level)? Well, certainly it can't, otherwise it would have been done.
Thanks Gert |

>> Hide Contents needs to be placed exactly where it is for it to work. I wish there were a better way to prevent duplicated files appearing in the playlist but the limitations of UPnP mean this is the only way.
