RE: HELP - cannot configure Minimserver
Thanks for this. I think I understand the problem. The shared folder for MinimServer has been created as /share/MD0_DATA/MinimServer (the correct path when the NAS was set up as RAID) but MinimServer is installed as /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/MinimServer. The mismatch between MD0_DATA and CACHEDEV1_DATA is causing the problem.

Please try using Shared Folders in QTS to remove the shared folder named MinimServer, including checking the box to also delete the data for the shared folder. Do not uninstall or reinstall MinimServer.

After the MinimServer shared folder has been deleted successfully and no longer shows in Shared Folders, you should be able to start MinimServer without getting the "could not create shared folder" message.

Simon, it has worked! Thank you. I deleted the Shared Folder, and then tried launching MinimServer but to no avail. Then I uninstalled and Reinstalled MinimServer (after having previously deleted the shared folder MinimServer) and now it opens and I can get to the configuration page through the port:9790
I am not sure why it would not work despite deleting the shared folder but after that AND uninstalling and reinstalling, we seem at least to get to the stage of being able to configure MinimServer - which I could not before. So I am now going to transfer another 2TB of music data back to the NAS and I hope Linn Kazoo will be able to 'see' the music through MinimServer tomorrow.
once again, thank you. I do appreciate this amazing level of support. I shall feedback tomorrow if all is well with Linn Kazoo reading from MinimServer.

RE: HELP - cannot configure Minimserver
Thanks for confirming this. Please post the output from these commands with your current working setup:

/sbin/getcfg MinimServer Install_Path -d "" -f /etc/config/qpkg.conf
ls -l /share/MinimServer

Many thanks.

/share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/MinimServer

[~] # ls -l /share/MinimServer
/bin/ls: cannot access /share/MinimServer: No such file or directory

I shall check in the morning if MinimServer will show all the music files once it has completed the rescan - at present the music files are being copied from my backup to the NAS. It will take until morning to confirm complete success.
I shall feedback on this Simon. And once again, thanks.

Simon, ALL is well this morning. Kazoo sees MinimServer and all the albums are indexed and visible from that interface. Once again, thank you for the support and being so prompt with this.
