There are some changes in MinimStreamer 2.0.8 that should improve how this works. With 2.0.8, you don't need to set the length in both stream.transcode and stream.options. The recommended setting for your renderer is to use streamSize=2GB in stream.options and aac:wav24 (not acc:wav24) in stream.transcode.

Just to follow up on this, I finally tried to add multiple streams of a radio station today to get longer playing times and it worked. As far as I could tell, there was no interruption either.

Back to the basic title of this thread...............

I wish to install MinimServer 2 on an iMac running Mac OS Sierra (to be the last of my licensed installations). Reading the MinimServer instructions I first updated Java following the link provided. I now have Java 8 Update 291 installed. I then tried to download MinimServer 2.0 using the link provided but got the message: "Download link error 3".

What am I doing wrong? Any advice appreciated. thanks.

This is a browser issue. It seems to affect Safari on older Mac platforms. Do you have another browser you can use instead?

OK used Firefox successfully and picked up licence for this installation.
