Minimserver 072 won't start anymore

Since this week's Mac security update MinimServer 072 won't start anymore. Anybody any clou how to fix this problem? I just fixed the lastest Java update and now again troubles. Using Mac 10.8.4.

Did you apply the Java fix described on this page?

Do you remember which security update you applied this week? Was it this update? I have just installed this update (using Mac OS X 10.7.5), and MinimServer is working OK.

What troubles exactly are you experiencing when you try to start MinimServer? Please be as specific as possible.

Yep, thats the osx fix I installed this week. The Java fix was already installed but after the osx update I installed it again because minimserver 0.72 refused to run. It didn't help.

Please explain what you mean by "refused to run". Please be as specific as possible. What exactly do you see when you try to start MinimServer?

I don't know what I am doing but its working again. Rightclick Minimserver.app in the Applications folder and then go to Contents - Contents - Resources - Java and run minimserver.jar. Then something called Launchserver starts and the MinimServer icon shows up and starts scanning. After that Kinsky sees the server and can play the music again.

This isn't the correct way to start MinimServer. You should double-click on the MinimServer application in the Applications folder. Does MinimServer start successfully if you do this? If not, what happens?

Which version of Java do you have installed? Is it Apple Java 6, or Oracle Java 7? MinimServer currently supports only Apple Java 6.

Aha, Java Orcale v7 update 25 (build 1.7.0_25-b15) was installed. Not anymore, now Apple Java 6 is running and MinimServer is running too! Thanx.

I'll do further investigations into this. At the moment, I'm not sure if it's possible to make a single app bundle that will work with Apple Java 6 and Oracle Java 7. If not, I'll need to produce separate downloads for Apple Java 6 and Oracle Java 7 (which would be very confusing for users).
