A more detailed check shows that BubbleUPnP is actually showing my Sub-Genre tag in the Composer tag rather than Genre.

I'm struggling to find a Reload button in BubbleUPnP. Where exactly is this button lurking? Do you actually mean its 'Rescan library' option?

RE: Upgrading from MinimServer 0.8 to MinimServer 2
I think I understand what happened with upnpCustom. If you had looked at this property while still in Starter Edition mode, it would have been blank. It is not populated with the correct value until you install the trial license and refresh the MinimWatch Properties dialog.

Rescan library (from BubbleUPnP) does a rescan and a reload, so this is fine.

If you touch the "3 dots" menu at the top right of the BubbleUPnP page showing the top level of your MinimServer library, you will see the Reload menu selection.

This would be because you have used this setting in the tagFormat property:

Composer.displayFormat={$sub-genre}

RE: Upgrading from MinimServer 0.8 to MinimServer 2
I've just checked the results in BubbleUPnP with and without the upnpCustom setting of roleTags={Composer}. In both cases, Composer is added to the front of the Artist tag and Composer shows my Sub-Genre tag. I can't any differences at all in the Now Playing screen.

After making changes to the upnpCustom setting I restarted MinimServer and rescanned the MinimServer library in BubbleUPnP.

RE: Upgrading from MinimServer 0.8 to MinimServer 2
I hadn't read your last post before sending mine. Checking my notes about the MinimServer settings I created a long time ago, I see that I deliberately set the Composer to Sub-Genre as Composer was already being displayed under Artist (this Composer/Sub-Genre tag only appears when you tap on the Now Playing screen).

It looks like the default setting of upnpCustom does what I need and setting it to roleTags={Composer} serves no useful purpose.

EDIT: When I rotated my phone to landscape mode, I saw that BubbleUPnP was actually displaying Artist as Composer/Artist - Sub-Genre. Without my Composer.displayFormat setting of {$sub-genre} that would have been Composer/Artist - Composer. My chosen settings therefore squeeze as much useful info into the main Now Playing screen.
