Can not find all the subfolders
I have newly added 29 albums by subfolders, but Minimserver can only found 7 of them.
I now only have total 731 albums, according to Minimserver. In Minimserver, I deleted the parental folder and add in again, rescan. Still the same. What should I do? |

RE: Can not find all the subfolders
Have you checked the MinimServer log for error or warning messages?

Thank you, can you let me which tools I can use? FYI, I store all my music files on Synology NAS and I found all the folders have the same rights. |

RE: Can not find all the subfolders
If you set the logging level to Verbose and then do a rescan, you will see a list of all folders that MinimServer is scanning. Do the "missing" folders show in this list?

RE: Can not find all the subfolders
“can you let me which tools I can use”
No specific tool, as Simon suggested you should find some clue in the log. When happened to me the log clearly reported the issue ... another hint ... are the new files tagged in the right way? And can they be tagged? A friend of mine had the same issue (files not displayed) and the problem was that they were somehow broken, there wasn’t any chance to update the tags ... and in this case there wasn’t any clue in the log (to say it better: I couldn’t find any clue) |

RE: Can not find all the subfolders
If files are valid but not tagged (or tagged in a format that MinimServer cannot read), they can be found in the [untagged] section of the MinimServer index.

Please let me know where to find the MinimServer index, but in my mConnect, it has a untagged section. Those missing folders are not shown there |
