RE: Limit of 65000 folders
Just for clarification I assume the 65000 folder limit is also a limit on the number of albums if there is only 1 album per folder? I have 21300 albums containing a total of 105000 tracks so I guess I'm well within the current limitation.

System: ALAC iTunes library on Synology DS923+ (running MinimServer) > NetGear router > Optical isolation > dCS Network Bridge (controlled by Galaxy Tab S2 tablet running BubbleUPnP&Mosaic) > PS Audio DirectStream DAC > Primare A60 > Harbeth SHL5plus 40th Anniversary model

RE: Limit of 65000 folders
Your understanding is correct. Not many users are affected by this but it is a serious problem for those users who are affected.

RE: Limit of 65000 folders
Hi Simon,
is there something on the roadmap to prevent the 65000 folder limit?
It is possible to run multible instances without docker on an windows machine?

RE: Limit of 65000 folders
I think I have found a way to do this without impacting performance or memory usage in the normal case of less than 65000 folders. More news soon...

For multiple instances on Windows, see this thread.

RE: Limit of 65000 folders
The limit of 65000 folders has been removed in MinimServer update 186. This update is available now for manual installation.

If you have a full license and your updates expiry date is earlier than 18th February 2021 and you have not extended this expiry date, you will not be able to install this update and it will be "greyed out" in the list of available packages. You can check your updates expiry date from the License tab of the MinimServer configuration web page.
