Hi All,

I am new in this forum and I use Minimserver since few months.
I will buy Minimserver 2 soon, but before : I would like to if in this new version it will be possible to get the data from the item "Sample Rate" of the album and correctly show "DSD64", "DSD128", etc... ? instead of the current value we have.
If not, why is it not possible ?

I could add these to the #AudioQuality special tag. Would this work for you?

If it's possible yes. To be more precise in JRiver we have these items :
* Standard files : Sample Rate = 44.1 kHz or 96 kHz ; Bit Depth = 16 or 24
* DSD files : Sample Rate = DSD64 or DSD128 ; Bit Depth = 1

The goal it's to have these type of information in #AudioQuality (or new Special tag !?) : 16/44.1 kHz ; 24/96 kHz ; DSD64 ; DSD128 .... to be able to use it in "indexTags" and/or "tagFormat". I hope it's more clear for you.

I happened upon this thread and also am interested in streaming/transcoding DSD files. Must I have a DAC that supports DSD or will minimserver transcode to another format and send that?

I am using the minimserver that is available on synology:
MinimServer 0.8.5.3 update 134

MinimStreamer will transcode DSD files, see this page in the documentation
