Sorry that didn’t seem to work either. Please excuse my ignorance but should I have reinstated the *?I am sorry I have taken up so much of your time.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
The * is obsolete now.

When you say "didn't seem to work", do you mean your radios are still not seeing any streams when you use the radio to select the Radio.m3u playlist from the "n playlists" index entry of the top-level MinimServer menu?

Are your radios able to show and play .m3u playlists of local files? If not, the problem could be related to .m3u playlist support in the radios rather than how the BBC streams are defined.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
That’s correct nothing is seen under Minimserver on the radios.Cant see anything relating to m3u playlists of local files.Looking back at some previous threads including mine others have had success with my radio the Roberts 93i.I fear I must be doing something wrong.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
When you view the music library on the Roberts, do you see a top-level menu saying "n albums" "n items" and "n playlists" (possibly just 1 playlist). If so, what happens when you select "n playlists"?

No I see nothing like that.I think I know what I have done wrong.Because everything was available through Kazoo with station labels etc I’m wondering If I have inadvertently deleted what was I think 1 playlist.Could this be the problem? If so how do I recover?

RE: HLS stream to radio.
You need to put your Radio.m3u file somewhere in your MinimServer library on the NAS and do a MinimServer rescan. After the rescan, the "1 playlist" menu selection should appear.

Sorry I’ve spent ages trying to do what you suggested. I tried to drag and drop which I couldn’t do,also tried to upload to Synology but ended up uploading Textedit App.Should text be saved as a document? Also tried copy and paste.

RE: HLS stream to radio.
The Radio.m3u file must be saved as plain text. You can use Synology File Station to upload it to your NAS.
