To my way of thinking, my NAS is remote if I am away from home and local when I am within range of my wireless network, but you are probably right in assuming that in this case they meant local to the device.

I might give the author of Glider a prod on this topic. He is limiting his market by not providing an original browsing tree option for every selected UPnP music server. Not all of his users will have multiple servers. Even those that do might not always want a merged interface. I would never consider using Glider while it continues to suppress the MinimServer browsing tree.
