Bit the Bullet
And it works Fine on 1813+

Upgraded to ver 6 on synology.
Upgraded everything in "Package Center"
Manually installed MinimServer-0.8.3.4-x64.spk
Once installed pressed run.
but didn't run.
Package center had Java 7 installed but Java 8 ready to install.
Installed Java 8.
Went back to MinimServer .
Pressed run.
It all works!!
Thank you once again Simon!!

Mike.

RE: DSM 6 Synology and MinimServer
Oh this isn't good. My log has been clear and now it has a TON of date issues. The last time I spent 10 hrs fixing them and this appears to be worse. Any ideas why due to this update?

Have you checked your log via Minimwatch?

RE: DSM 6 Synology and MinimServer
I followed the advice on this thread and got my Minimserver installation up an running again in no time. Thanks to all for your help.
I did update to Java 8, but not sure I had to. Sure, Minimwatch was red on 7, but after installing 8, I realised that I had inadvertantly deleted the configuration file so there was no "content Dir" to look at... Doh!, my bad!

I have successfully migrated to DSM 6 on an ARMv7 machine, I am curious as to whether I need to keep both Java 7 and 8 running or whether 7 can be safely uninstalled? Are there any Synology services that rely on version 7?
