sort order
Hallo,
With the tags ARTIST, ALBUMARTIST and ARTISTSORT I try to establish a certain order in my music files, which make sense to me. An example: ARTIST=Atoms for peace ALBUMARTIST=Thom Yorke ARTISTSORT=Yorke, Thom In folder view and choosing artist the list is correct sorted A->Z where Thom Yorke can be found under the Y. Choosing the album the artist is correctly Thom Yorke and per track is mentioned Atoms for peace. In case of an album with various artists the tag ARTIST can change per track, the ALBUMARTIST=Various and ARTISTSORT=Various (or I could choose to give it a name in case of a tribute album). As I said in folder view (Lightning DS) this is what I wanted, but when I change to Library view ALBUMARTIST is chosen (and Thom Yorke is found under T). I would like to have there the sorting on ARTISTSORT (and year ascending). I can’t figure out how to do that and included are print screens of the properties. Hope you can give me a solution…. Tom |

This means that library view in Lightning DS is something specific to Lightning DS and you would need to contact the Lightning DS developers to see if there is any way to get this to work in the way you would prefer. |

RE: sort order
Simon is right, Lightning DS ignores and sort order tags.
