RE: GETTING STARTED

Sad to report, no improvement. Almost every time I shut down iPad and go back into Naim program it takes several attempts to find Minimserver on NAS. I have to close and open the Naim program several times before it locates Minimserver. Not sure where to go at this point but guess just have to live with it. I'm sorry to hear this. What are the exact models of router and switch that you have? Are you using the factory firmware on the router and switch or have you installed some other firmware such as DD-WRT? |

RE: GETTING STARTED
The router is a Buffalo WXR1900DHP and the switch is a Netgear GS105E. I was looking at the other thread you started about this issue and I am having a similar situation in that the wired to wired communication with Minimserver works flawlessly, i.e. the ND5 always finds it right away. It is the wireless iPad that has issues connecting.

RE: GETTING STARTED
Sorry, also it is the standard firmware on both devices.

Did you disable Snooping under Wireless - Multicast Control in Advanced Settings? After doing this, have you powered everything off and on? |

RE: GETTING STARTED
Snooping is definitely disabled and reboot did not change anything. Do you think trying an Android device for control would make any difference?

Might be your switch, the Netgear GS 105 E does support IGMP snooping (http://www.manualslib.com/manual/399331/...=11#manual) the setting is standard enabled. A better choice is the Netgear GS 105. RE: GETTING STARTED
So problem still persists regardless of device I try. IGMP snooping is definitely disabled on both router and switch. Any chance it could be a setting on Qnap?
