RE: GETTING STARTED
I cannot find that option under wireless. Under network settings, there is a multicast option. The options there areAllow Multicast from WAN and Target Network which is set LAN. At the heading of the tab it says:You can enable Multicast/IGMP if you have IPTV.
That is all I can find so far. |

Have you tried selecting Advanced Settings from the home screen? See this page for a download link for the oinline manual. The Home screen is shown on page 16 and the Advanced Settings selection is in the lower right corner. The Snooping setting is described on page 35. |

RE: GETTING STARTED
I am so frustrated. When I follow the instructions I do not get taken to that page with those options. This is where it takes me when I enter the ip address:
DD-WRT NXT Router Status Overview Connectivity Wireless Log OpenVPN Log Network Settings Network Services System Settings Logout Overview Router Info Release DD-WRT NXT rel r1.1.1 Hardware Buffalo WXR-1900DHP Kernel version 3.18.11 Uptime 13:04:55 Current time 14/07/2015 14:18:43 Current load 0.146/0.74/0.41 Memory usage 39/503 MB Internet Connection Wan Port Online Wireless Network SSID (2.4 GHz) ADRMJR SSID (5 GHz) ADRMJR5G It is a DD-WRT screen. I have no idea how to get to the screen on the tech manual. |

RE: GETTING STARTED
I emailed you a picture of the login screen I see when I enter the router's IP address and my password. Sorry couldn't figure out how to post it here.

RE: GETTING STARTED
OK so here is the problem. I called Buffalo support but they do not even support this router. All support for settings is to go through DD-wrt!! Which is incredibly complicated. So back this one goes and we will give something else a try.

From the file you sent me, I can see that the router has DD-WRT installed instead of the Buffalo firmware. I'm not familiar with DD-WRT and I wouldn't be able to help you with configuring this. |

RE: GETTING STARTED
Hi Simon, I have now added a Buffalo router that allows me to disable snooping as well as a Netgear smart switch that also allows me to disable snooping. Sad to report, no improvement. Almost every time I shut down iPad and go back into Naim program it takes several attempts to find Minimserver on NAS. I have to close and open the Naim program several times before it locates Minimserver. Not sure where to go at this point but guess just have to live with it.
