Which platform are you using to run Kinsky?

Are you sure you downloaded Kinsky and not Kazoo? Kazoo will not work unless it can find a "room" but Kinsky doesn't have this problem.

but i tried the twonky that is on B&O website and that one shows the Artwork

i used it on Macbook

the kinsky i can find is only for ios and android i can try the iOS version of kinsky

ok i installed it on the Ipad and use minim server as library and it shows all the artwork right away

Hi Again,

i installed the Linn Kinsky on my iPad and right away all the covers where there ( i used minim server as library)
but off course it is only on the iPad all the covers are there.

what is really weird on the beosound for example

Def leppard High n dry is now under various artists but on the iPad it is correct listed on Def leppard --- High n dry

i know i can't expect you to keep helping me but i am to be perfectly honest totally lost

if you need more info let me know

Thanks for doing these tests. It seems clear that MinimServer is sending the artwork but for some reason the BeoSound can't read it even though it can read the artwork from Twonky.

Perhaps the BeoSound is limited in the artwork resolution that it supports and Twonky is downscaling the artwork to a suitable size that the Beosound can handle. MinimServer sends artwork at full size with no downscaling.

To confirm this, you could downscale one of your folder.jpg files to 160x160 pixels and do a MinimServer rescan. Does this make the artwork show on the Beosound?

but i know 100% for sure that beosound supports the artwork as they were there when i used the beomaster 5 as storage

but i will test something i going to delete the entire database on the beosound make a new folder called music1
and add only 2-3 or CDs

cause maybe the database on the beomaster/beosound is destroyed

will report back in a few hours when i have tested

i will be damned it just did the above and artwork is shown in full scale and music imported

ok i added my A-ha dir that looks like this

then i added my Def Leppard dir that looks like this

Adrenalize
Euphoria
High 'N' Dry
Hysteria
Pyromania
Retro Active

Slang _ Acoustic In Singapore [Disc 2]
Vault

the problem here is the A-ha looks perfect but the Def Leppard dir is all wrong in the structure

all the Def leppard albums is now placed under various artists but the A-ha is all correct under a-ha
