windows server bridge mode fails
Hello, I have a problem.
I use dual lan ports (intel dual lan card).
One of the port is directly goes to Lumin, the other port goes to the main switch.

Under debian linux minimserver it goes okay with bridge mode, Lumin can stream music, but under Windows (8.1 or server 2012 r2) it cannot stream. I tried from a computer with foobar upnp client, it started, but musis is listenable.

This is a minimserver problem, or windows problem?

In your Windows setup, are both LAN ports on the same subnet? What IP addresses do these ports have?

What did you do in your Windows configuration to brdge the two LAN ports?

RE: windows server bridge mode fails
Under Debian, I made the bridge connection, then I set it up. And it worked.

So, under windows, I made the bridge with the windows built in bridge wizard. Data can go thru the ports, but the music cannot be streamed.

If I set a bridge connection (both Windows, and Linux) the ports don't have ip separetly, only the bridge has one.

Can you post a link to a description of the Windows bridge wizard that you used?

I followed these instructions (using Windows 7) and everything is working for me.

Are you able to see MinimServer and browse your library from a control point running on a different machine (for example, the LUMIN app running on an iPad)?
