Content directory

I am trying to put a file location in the content directory.i paste the file and hit update the field goes blank,it restarts and that's it how can I get the file location in the directory?

This probably means MinimServer has accepted the value you have pasted in and is now scanning your files. When you click Refresh Status on the status web page, what status information and directory information do you see on the page?
