RE: I cannot play DSD files
The test1.wav file needs to be in the folder you have configured in the contentDir property or in some other folder underneath this folder. After putting this file in the correct location, you need to do a MinimServer rescan and restart the control point app you are using to browse your MinimServer library.

As an alternative to using the [untagged] index, you can use [folder view] to locate the test1.wav file.

RE: I cannot play DSD files
Ok, after I rebooted the server the file did appear in Minimserver: it plays normally. My digital audio/IT know-how borders on zero but am I right saying that therefore it must be a problem with transcoding ?

RE: I cannot play DSD files
I have tried again playing tracks via Minimserver: they are all distorted, all PCM at all resolutions and DSD at 64 and 128

RE: I cannot play DSD files
And after doing the test described above, it distorts all tracks from Qobuz, until I reboot the DAC

Is this happening only after playing a transcoded DSD/dopwav file or also in other cases?

It happens in all cases as it was happening before you gave me the test file.

RE: I cannot play DSD files
Sorry, I should explain this better. The transducers DopWav file you gave plays fine and does not cause problems. The problems start when I try to play ie transducer DSD files from my server: something must be going wrong in the transduction done with my system

To clarify, is this a .dsf file played from MinimServer using the dsf:dopwav setting or some other combination?

Yes, it is .dsf files (I am pretty sure: I will double-check again tonight). They are recognised as "DSD" at the correct sampling rate on the DAC display.

RE: I cannot play DSD files
Please also check whether you have the dsf:dopwav setting enabled. After doing this, restart MinimServer and your control point to make sure it is active.
