I did some experiments with my Linn and can not find a difference in behaviour using either BubbleServer/ DNLA or OpenHome. Pause, FF ,stop , volume all the same. Maybe the author of BubbleServer can provide an answer. Linn is not SOtM so things might work differently I suppose. |

Yes Linn, and Kazoo too, works fine but it doesn’t show bit depth and sample rate of the playing file while it does using Bubbleupnpserver. Lumïn is a bit more “choosy” and Bubbleupnpserver it perfectly tuned for it |

RE: Best iPad App for MinimlServer
Interesting, Kazoo and LUMIN show exactly the same information in my case. No difference when I use BubbleUpnpServer.
The main reason for discussing this is to help the OP and find out why LUMIN is not working properly in his setup. I am curious whether Kazoo does work properly in his case? |

RE: Best iPad App for MinimlServer
They are actually different … I did remember wrong, in Linn app only file type is not shown and bit depth/sample rate it formatted in a different way

May I remind you that it might make sense to come back to the original question "Best iPad App for MinimlServer"?
@simoncn: would it make sense to split this thread? Kind regards steamfan |

RE: Best iPad App for MinimlServer
I think this discussion is very relevant to the subject of the thread, providing users with information about differences between some OpenHome-capable iPad control point apps.

Around October 2022 Lumïn published an update that broke the OpenHome compatibility and at the end of the same month Bubbleupnpserver published an update to recover the compatibility Here you can find Bubbleupnpserver changelog |

Are you transcoding FLAC to WAV? This might be the cause of showing bit depth/sample rate in a different way. |
