Songs showing Genres not present in tags

As I had this problem today here the details:

Problem: Genre or other ID tag fields show information that should not be there, e.g.
genre should be ROCK, minimserver shows PopRock.

Root cause: It's possible (at least in my case) to solve more than one ID3v2 tag to a mp3 file.
Check it with the tool MediaInfo (tree-view) and mp3tag. MediaInfo shows the last detected ID3v2 tag while mp3tag shows the first detected. Now you know where the strange tag is comming from

Solution:
1) Open the file in mp3tag.
2) Change options to remove ALL tags (in tools->options->tags->mpeg...section remove...mark all available tags).
Goto Section Write ....mark only ID3v2. and close the options.
3) Mark the file -> right click -> copy Tag -> right click again -> remove tag (do those steps till no tag info is available anymore) -> save -> paste Tag.
Now you should have only ONE ID3v2 Tag in your file and the problem is solved.
