Problem Solved ! Smile

Thx to your advise I changed my focus from the
connection and checked the whole configuration of the Main Switch. Exclamation

There was an error in the configuration of the port trunking
on the Main Switch. It was not severe enough to block
regular File Transfer but it was edgy enough to
cause some dropouts of the stream.
Therefore the stream didn't dropout when neither MinS nor the
renderer was connected to the Main switch.
(The filetransfer from the NAS via the main switch to MinS
was obviously no problem.)
