A question about ConvoProxy

Disclaimer: I have read the linked page but not used ConvoProxy myself.

ConvoProxy does not do "exactly the same thing" as MinimStreamer but has some similarities as well as many differences. These differences include lacking the range of transcoding options provided by MinimStreamer and not providing the ability to handle radio streams.

Also, ConvoProxy seems harder to set up and configure than MinimStreamer and it isn't clear what code ConvoProxy uses to do transcoding (MinimStreamer uses FFmpeg).

I would be interested to hear comments from anyone who has used ConvoProxy.
