Thanks for this pointer. According to this post, the problem is likely to be related to the BrowseMetadata operation.

Have you been able to get XBMC working with any other servers such as Twonky or Asset?

Unfortunately i did not have much experience with XBMC, so i did not try it working with twonky or asset. But i will try it tomorrow with Twonky and report the result
