Kinsky now shows an additional 'Room' option that reflects my J River Media Center renderer as modified by BubbleUPnP Server. Using this 'Room' allows Kinsky to step through a playlist in a normal manner, with the name of the current track appearing in the top left corner of the screen (previously, this 'playing now' indicator never updated when I changed the track). However, I still have usability issues, such as the volume control option not working.

Another quirk is that even after using Edit/Delete to remove the current playlist from my selected 'Room', Kinsky still shows the last active track name and cover art in the top left corner.

In my opinion, Lumin app is much better than Kinsky app, and does not show as many quirks. It does have some however, like volume control and pause/seek not working on the Moon Mind renderer. But those limitations seem due to the Mind renderer itself where those functionalities do not appear to be properly implemented ar the UPnP level. For ex., those also show up when using BubbleUPnP android app to control the Moon Mind.

It should be kept in mind that BubbleUPnP server cannot compensate for renderer deficiencies at the hardware level. Gapless playback is such a case.
