Best controller for iPad?

I installed 8player lite and played around a little bit with it. It plays using the iPad as the renderer, which is what I was trying to do at the moment. The actual display interface seems a little wasteful of screen space---it could fit a lot more items in on one screen.

I was thinking of trying plugplayer, and I've also seen a recommendation for goodplayer, but these don't seem to have free trial versions.
