The screenshots look fine and there's no need to start again. The problem must be at the control point end. It could be a UPnP discovery issue related to your network setup. Try powering the control point off and on to see whether that makes a difference.

Either Java 7 or Java 8 is fine. If you have Java 7 installed, there's no need to change to Java 8.
