Accessing substrings of a tag separately for index and display purpose

Hi,

For some of my albums I have bunch of information at individual tag level which I want to use for indexing as well as display purpose.

So I'm overloading GROUPCONTENT tag with two values, say as "value1, value2".

Can I access these 2 substrings, value1 and value2, from GROUPCONTENT tag separately so that I can use them separately for indexing as well as display purpose ?
