Java on Synology NAS
I have a Synology DS411+ii NAS that I'm using as a music server, streaming to a LUMIN. I currently have Minimserver and Java SE for embeded 6 installed. Now that I've updated the Synology to DSM 5.0 it is asking me to update Java. It first wants me to remove my current version.

If I remember correctly, when I installed Java it wasn't even through Java manager, and there was an extremely complicated and convoluted process for installing Java that I was only able to do because some nice person had posted a tutorial on this forum on how to do it.

So the question is--do I need to update Java? If so how, and is this now a much simpler/direct process?
