NAIM Unity
I would like to start a thread for NAIM Unity users. This little box (Unity Lite) had simply revolutionised my music listening and Minim works beautifully with it. When I purchased my NAIM I also upgraded my speakers to KEF R700s and this is a combination made in heaven and costs less than the last turntable (no arm!) I bought. With 24bit recordings it sounds especially gorgeous, playing some Pinkuoizu (a Danish psychdelic band) it was frightening at times but it also exhibits beautifully delicacy on chamber music for example.
I am also using FooBar, which I use as a test rig. I make changes to Minim and use FooBar to monitor these - all on my PC. I am not an Apple fanboy btw - having just retired as a software developer mainly in the City of London, so Banks, Insurance companies and the like. These sort of companies are virtually 100% PC and therefor so was I.

Mp3Tag (does FLAC as well) for not surprisingly tagging. This is a Jekyl and Hyde product. It is brilliant in that it lets you multiple tagging, which I will explain later but it is too easy to mess things up in it. Hit the cursor-down key while editing and you loose your changes. Accidentally hit the mouse wheel and you could blank everything which forces you to do an undo (Ctrl-z as usual). Unfortunately the results on the undo are unpredictable - it goes back further than the last save quite often. But overall and until I write smething myself it does a job.

Multiple tagging means that various tags can have more trhan one value, so if I have the following in the 'Composer' tag:
Bailey Rae, Corinne\\Bowkett, Rod
I will see Bailey Rae, Corinne and Bowkett, Rod listed as separate composers, each with their own entry. Good Eh?

Anyway come on all NAIM users lets get it on.
