Yes, that's possible. The procotol is UPnP / SSDP and the port number is 1900. You might need to add the Linux equivalent of javaw.exe to the list of programs that are allowed to open TCP and UDP ports for listening.

My apologies for missing this in your earlier reply. To solve this library version mismatch, I'll need to rebuild the 64-bit versions of MinimServer and MinimWatch using an older version of gcc. I'm away from home at the moment, and I won't be able to do this until early September.
