minimwatch hangs after update

Did the server relaunch automatically after doing the update? You can tell whether this happened by seeing whether the server icon is present after you have manually restarted MinimWatch.

Does the minim icon disappear completely or does it change to a "grey" state indicating no server is available?

Can you make the problem happen by doing a manual server update from the Packages tab in the Properties dialog? For example, if you manually replace update 21 by update 20 by typing minimserver-0.8-update-20 in the 'Other package' field and clicking Install, followed by clicking Relaunch after the install has completed, do you see the same problem?

Is it possible that some other program on the Mac is interfering with MinimWatch? See this post for an example of this kind of problem.
