After installing the new version of minimserver, I could not view the tagged wav files while viewing my library. They still appeared under the head 'untagged'. I then retagged the files using dbpoweramp, and they now appeared as tagged. Is there any way of avoiding this, and making sure they appear as tagged?

Which program did you use to do the original tagging?

There are two ways of tagging WAV files (LIST/INFO and ID3v2). MinimServer supports ID3v2 tags but not LIST/INFO tags. Perhaps the program you were using to do the first tagging was writing LIST/INFO tags.

This is probably caused by having more than one copy of the same file in your library, with one copy being tagged and the other copy being untagged.

Thank you for your reply.

Originally I had also used dbpoweramp to rip and tag the files.

As regards the files appearing in the untagged list: dbpoweramp gives you an option to
overwrite the existing file while adding tags, which I have used, so its unlikely there are multiple tags, but I will check.

Thanks for helping.
