If you are by any chance using dbPoweramp to rip your CDs, you will find that it irritatingly replaces semi-colons with '//', which is then interpreted by other programs as a tag separator. This has been the main cause of error messages of this kind in my case.

I have found no way to make dbPoweramp (which is otherwise my CD ripping program of choice) play nicely in this respect. As I almost invariably need to do further work in MP3Tag on my newly ripped CDs before I let them loose on MinimServer, the issue is not a major problem for me.
