UTF-8 at Synology NAS (PPC)

Everything is running fine except when I start Minimserver I get a notification in the DSM web interface that "UTF-8 locale and charset are not available". Not sure if I want to hack into system files like FunRace900 did to fix this.

Thanks for letting me know. I will update my NAS to 4.3 and try this myself, but I won't be able to get to this until early next week.

Hacking into system files should be OK if you are careful to make a backup of the original versions, so that you can put everything back to its original state later. Some system files are critical for starting the NAS, so you need to be extra cautious about changing these.
