Thanks, winxi. I agree that this 'feature' is potentially confusing, but it's hardly a show-stopper.

As regards restarting MinimServer from the NAS interface, I just don't know whether the problem is me or the software. There is nothing in the RAIDiator User Guide that helps, except a somewhat cryptic statement that the capabily to manage each add-on will vary with the application. This implies that any facility to restart MinimServer from the Dashboard would have to be part of the MinimServer installation. Simon has understandably expressed reluctance to do much tailoring of installation packages for individual NAS models; I think we'd all agree that the new features of MinimServer should have priority just now. So I'm prepared to live with these small issues.
