RE: I cannot play DSD files
You’ve cracked it. The file you sent played flawlessy.
I went back to trying my own DSD files. It turns out that I had been using a series of samples which I had downloaded from the NativeDSD website for testing, and therefore thought were ideal to this purpose: it turns out that they must have been corrupted because I do not have any problems with all the other DSD files I have, which play normally. What caused confusion was that the “defective DSDs”, as I had previously explained, perturbed permanently the reproduction of any “sound” DSDs played afterwards, until I “reset” the DAC501 by rebooting it. Thank you very much for your help and patience. I have not tried any 128 samples as I do not have any but I am sure they would be fine. |
