MinimServer provides a way to work around it by using the flowControl option of the serverOptions property...set o flowControl=2x...slow down audio data sent to...
twice the playback rate...flowControl=3x...three times the playback rate, and so forth. It would be worth trying this to see if it helps.

Looking at Properties-Advanced-serverOptions it directs me to the Other features page, and the final line of Server options-flowControl says:
