Sorting album by alphabet or numbers

I have tried Mimin Server (converted from Twonky) and so far it seems very nice. Just one issue I can't find an answer to anywhere.
I like to sort my music the same way as in the old CD/Vinyl shelves; that is by artist and release date. The only way I found to do this in Twonky was by prefixing the album title with year: "1972: title" (typically studio albums). But some artist have issued several alums each year (some have for example lots of live albums). This I solved by calling them for example "19720903: title". This worked fine in Twonky as digits were treated as characters. 19720903 came before 1980. It seems to me that Mimim treat digits as numbers. So then the order is 1972->1980->19720903 which is confusing when there are lots of albums.

So my question is: Is there some "switch" to have Mimin treat digits as alpabetical characters instead of numbers (I have looked but have not found any)? And I know there are several ways to fix this but they all require editing of a lot of album tags. And what if later switch to another app and have do it again.....
