With the startupScan property set to true, MinimServer scans files that are newly added and files that have been modified since they were last scanned, based on the "last modified" date of the file and/or the file size. Some tagging programs have an option to not change the "last modified" date, so make sure this option isn't set.

Yes, that accords with my setup, a rescan (very fast) got the newly tagged artwork AOK. Most excellent
