I deliberately formatted the SSD as an exfat partition so that I can access the files on the music drive in Windows via a samba network share to copy or delete new music. perhaps reformatting with mbr could actually solve the problem?! mbr is quite possible under the 2TB limit. The proof of the pudding is in the eating. If it works with exfat, I would have solved the problem, including the samba share with Windows. Since ext4 is a pure Linux format, it should only be used for Linux-based systems, that's my opinion. Best regards |
