I have tested this and confirmed what is happening. When a UPnP control point sends a "title" search query to the foobar2000 UPnP server, it appears that the foobar2000 UPnP server looks in all file tags for a match, not just the Title tag.

This works for your use case but it doesn't seem to be a correct implementation of the UPnP Search specification. MinimServer searches the Title tag only.

You can work around this by setting the MinimServer tagFormat property to this value: Title.displayFormat={$title^$notes^ (^)}

This adds the contents of the Notes tag (if present) to the track title metadata used by MinimServer for Browse and Search requests. With this change, searching your MinimServer library for 10cc will return all songs that have a Notes tag of "early 10cc".
