The same subnet is mandatory for UPNP only.
To find the iPad ip address go to Settings, WiFi, and click on the circled i (i) that appears on the right at the and of the row that describe your Wi-Fi connection (see attached image) , then scroll the page and you’ll be able to find the ip address. Regarding the Synology, the address is the one you reported for Minimserver therefore they are all on the same subnet. Can you shut down JPlay on iPad (swipe off) and relaunch? |
