RE: minimwatch unable to create tray icon

I will do a new installation with the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS 64-bit and post back here with what I find. I am seeing the same problem. It is caused by the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS (bookworm) using Wayland by default instead of X11. Java needs X11 to show system tray icons. You can select X11 by doing the following: 1) In a Terminal window, run this command: sudo raspi-config 2) Select option 6 (Advanced Options) and press Enter 3) Select option A6 (Wayland) and press Enter 4) Select option W1 (X11) and press Enter 5) Reboot You should now see the MinimServer tray icon when MinimServer is running. |
