Alternatively, it is possible that the connection is being dropped because a UPnP subscription renewal message is being lost. If this is what is happening, changing the IGMP snooping setting on the router will not solve the problem.
Thanks Simon - unfortunately my Talktalk router does not have an IGMP setting so can't try disabling.
I understand the Bartok is continually advertising itself on the network but if a message to the MS server is being lost then surely MConnect would also lose its connection to MS, yet when Mosaic is down it retains the link between Bartok and MS.
