Excluding folder from certain views?

You can browse to a specific folder using the [folder view] index and then change to tag view. If you structure your library like this:

top-level folder
-- main library
---- main library folder 1
---- main library folder 2
---- etc.
-- random songs folder

then you could browse using [folder view] > main library > tag view to see everything not in your random songs folder. When you want to see your random songs, you could browse using [folder view] > random songs.
