Another option if you want to access your music collection remotely is to install Plex Media Server. I have this running and it points to the same directories that MinimServer does, MinimServer provides access for my Linn DS streamers and Plex for everything else - Live TV, recorded video content, photos and music. Note, I don't use Plex's on UPNP capability as it's nowhere on-par with MinimServer.
