Cannot Install Minimserver

I have not seen this problem. Is MinimServer already running? The installer starts MinimServer automatically unless you uncheck the box for this. You can check whether MinimServer is running in either of the following ways:

1) Look in the Windows system tray (taskbar icon area) and the overflow area for additional icons (upward-pointing arrow icon) for the MinimServer icon (musical note). If the icon is there, MinimServer is running.

2) In a web browser, enter the address http://127.0.0.1:9790. If this opens the MinimServer configuration web page, MinimServer is running.

If MinimServer isn't already running, there might be an issue with your Java installation. To check for this, you can download and run the Jarfix program.

If you are running MinimServer on Windows only, you shouldn't install MinimWatch as well. You only need MinimWatch if you are running MinimServer on another device such as a NAS.

If none of the above suggestions helps, are you logged in as an adminimstrator user? MinimServer should install and run for both administrator and non-administrator users but it is posssible that there might be some kind of permissions issue with a non-administrator installation.
